May 15, 1969 “Bloody Thursday” People’s Park, Berkeley, CA

A student putting a flower in the national guard’s bayonet, during a rally of 3000+ people of whom gathered to take a small piece of the UC Berkeley campus (which is now known as the People’s Park) to which Reagan (Governor of CA at the time) responded by initiating a war on life and love on the people of this community by declaring Berkeley in a “state of emergency” and employing over 2,200 national guards to supposedly protect the park from the people for weeks after.
